Classes are offered in the summer, fall, winter and spring.
Each session runs for 10 weeks.

Meeting Time:
                          Beginners' Programme
                                         Friday: 6:00pm till 7:15pm
                          Intermediate Programme
                                         Friday: 7:15 till 8:30pm
The Beginners' Programme covers basic hand techniques, footwork, and offense and defense techniques of the classical French school.

The Intermediate Programme covers line drills, supervised bouting and individual fencing lessons.

Participation: The programmes are offered to children from the age of 8 and adults.
All participants have to register with the West Vancouver Community Centre office.

Equipment: Participants are required to wear a sports outfit and indoor court shoes.
All necessary equipment -- mask, practice foil, and plastron or jacket -- will be provided.
