Classes are offered in the summer, fall,
winter and spring. Each session runs for 10
weeks.
Each lesson
starts with static stretch warm-up followed by moderate workout with
stretching and conditioning.
The programme
is divided into two parts:
The
first part covers basic hand techniques, footwork, and offense and defense
techniques of the classical French school.
The second
part covers line drills and supervised bouting.
Participation: All participants have to register with West
Point Grey Community Centre.
Equipment:
Participants are required to wear a sports outfit and indoor court shoes.
All necessary
equipment -- mask, practice foil, and plastron or jacket -- will be provided. |
