The programme is divided into two parts: The first part covers basic hand techniques,
                          footwork, and offense and defense techniques of the classical French
                          school. The second part covers line drills and supervised bouting.

Participation: All participants have to register with the Community Education
                           Services Office. To register, call (604) 713-4550.

Equipment:  Participants are required to wear a sports outfit and indoor court shoes.
                         All necessary equipment -- mask, practice foil, and plastron or jacket -- will
                         be provided.
