Dear Bac,

When you came back, more than twenty years later to the Institut National du Sport et de l'Education Physique, the place where you had attended the Fencing Masters school of stateliness, directed by Maître Louis Prost, at the Institut National des Sports; today, you found me, in charge of the fencing division of the Education Department of the Insitut National du Sport et de L'Education Physique, where we still try to maintain the French tradition of fencing, while facing today's requirements.

You were kind enough to show me the enormous work you had accomplished; four important books, meticulously organized, which explain the theories of fencing in the English language. I realized that this was your contribution to the fame of French fencing, which, thanks to your work, will spread to the American continent and the entire world.

Please accept my compliments on your remarkable work, and in the name of the school where you became a Maître d'Armes and which I am proud to represent. I thank you for enhancing the reputation of our school and our sport.

Lorsque vous êtes revenu, plus de vingt ans après, à l'INSEP, là où vous avez préparé les examens pour obtenir votre Maîtrise bien des choses avaient changé: vous avez fréquenté une école magistrale dirigée par le Maître Louis PROST au sein de l'Institut National des Sports, aujourd'hui, vous m'avez trouvé, responsable d'une Section Escrime d'un Département Formation de l'INSEP, où nous cherchons toujours à maintenir la tradition de l'Escrime Française en faisant face aux exigences actuelles.

Vous avez bien voulu me montrer l'immense travail que vous avez réalisé: quatre volumes importants minutieusement ordonnés, qui ont pour objet d'exposer la théorie de l'escrime française en langue anglaise. J'ai compris que c'était votre contribution à la renommée de l'escrime française, qui grâce à votre ouvrage, va s'étendre sur le continent américain et dans le monde entier.

Je vous adresse mes compliments pour votre remarquable travail et, au nom de l'école qui vous formé en tant que Maître d'Armes et que jai l'honneur de représenter, je vous remercie pour la réputation que vous y ajoutez.

Je vous prie de croire en mes sentiments sportifs les meilleurs.
